After our performance last night for the Xbox Kinect in Times Square, I still cannot get this song out of my head. Nor can I stop dancing. But that shouldn’t be a surprise.
And here is footage from the event last night. At the 2:15 mark on the left hand side next the cutie in the Ray-bans and black skull cap, there’s a another cutie with curly hair to the left of him who is still high off of the energy from last night.
Today Courtney, Aisha, and I spent part of the afternoon dancing around the Chambers Street subway exit to the amusement of confused NYers. The video snippet is so fun and so is this picture that Courtney snapped of me while we were dancing.

It’s outdoors. It’s FREE. There are local bands playing. I have a piece of choreography in it and I’m doing a solo. I might even put on a tutu…for the afterparty.

Last Sunday right around this time, I entered a sunlit studio at the top of Pineapple Studios in Covent Garden to dance. An hour before I had stuffed my face with fish and chips at The Rock and Sole Plaice (smart move!). I didn’t know anyone, didn’t know what the class would be like, but knew when the music started everything would be okay. It was only an hour out of my life, but this is what came out of it during Mandy Montanez’s class.
